Families

Families play a critical role in the continued success and growth of Special Olympics Montgomery County.  Family members serve as volunteers, coaches, fundraisers, and spokespersons.  Most importantly, they are a constant source of support and encouragement for their athlete.

Families see first hand the remarkable difference that Special Olympics makes in the lives of athletes.  Special Olympics helps the athletes gain the self-assurance and confidence to become a more integral and effective member of their community, whether at home, at school, or in the workplace.

Volunteering in support of Special Olympics is a great way for family members to give something back.

To become an approved volunteer, please click on "Volunteer Application" below to print, complete, and send to the SOMC office for processing.
