Eagleville Elementary School Walkathon
On Friday May 30, 2008, Eagleville Elementary School in the Methacton School District held its annual fundraising event. This year's event, coordinated by teacher Brad Dale, raised over $5,000 for Special Olympics Montgomery County.

Protective Behaviors Training
SOPA has instituted a requirement that all Class A Volunteers must take the new Protective Behaviors Training.
This training is available during the scheduled SOMC general training sessions conducted at 0900 on the third Saturday of most months. Please contact the SOMC office to confirm availability and reserve a spot at 610-828-3688 or via email at SpecialOlympicsMontCo@Verizon.net.

Please help spread the word regarding this SOPA requirement. We will not be able to utilize the services of anyone who has not complete this training in meeting the necessary volunteer to athlete ratios.
